Mk1 Trip Computer

Post by Kitch »

Who actually has one of these in their car (working)?

I've just managed to win one on ebay, but don't know if it works or not. Does anyone have a BX with it fitted that I might be able to try it in? So I know what I'm up against!

The Digit has one. It sortof works, in that the backlight is busted, so you can't easily see what the display is showing, and I think the optical sensor in the fuel flow meter is busted too, so it doesn't know how much fuel is being used.

Have you got an instruction manual for it too? It's surprisingly difficult to use, and makes no sense whatsoever.

No I didn't get a manual for it. Just the bare components.

*note* MK1 trip computers do NOT fit in mk2 cars :(

Time to get the hacksaw out :D

I've got a .pdf of the French version of the manual - I could have a go at translating it, if you like?
