That car ows me £10,000 and ive got every recipt! Ive replaced almost everything and done most of the work myself (except engine and mechanical bits). The car is fully undersealed and rebuilt from ground up underneath. Ill never sell it as ill never get my money back so i just enjoy it as its so reliable these days!

You'd be mad to sell it anyhow, regardless of the money you've invested in it I honestly doubt you'd find another one that good again.

Looks like it works very well too, Timmo, judging by the shine on that car!

Its clean........ But it aint clean enough. Ive currently got a few paint issues. The paint is now 17 years old and the pigment has gone. when polished the car will only hold its shine for around a month before dulling again. I have an ISA account with a local bank which i have started depositing mony into each month as im going to go for a full re-spray sometime mid next year. I am currently broke ot the moment as all my money has gone on my other project which im having a 220 bhp+ engine built up in my ford escort rs turbo. And when its run in its going up to 270 horses (and yes its been built right with all proper componants including head work bigger valves, cam, group A headgasket etc) The bx and rst are all i spend my money on realy  .

Rob Rob Rob Rob Rob...That is quite simply the finest BX I have ever seen. O.K. we dont get many over here in Kiwiland and there are some nice examples around for good prices at the mo' but yours is just stuPENdous. "Well done" seems almost an insult as it is so much more than just well done. Thanks for posting the pics.

Now, forgive the ignorance. We get standard BX's here unless, like my TZD Estate, you get yourself TO England and BUY exactly what you want, like I did, but I have never seen one like yours. (here comes the ignorance bit) The Bonnet and Headlamps, are they Citroen stuff or after market items or did you do the conversions yourself. ? Priceless effect. I dont even know what Phase One and Phase two are but learning from you guys has given me a new lease of life. Hell, I even bought myself a set of 16v Alloys yesterday. $150.00 all up, thats maybe $50 quid? (+-) and with good tyres too. Bought them of the kiwi version of ebay... trademe.co.nz. You lot are such a brilliant bunch and such an inspiration that it has made me look with different 'eyes' at my three B X's. Well worthy of preserving and we are lucky out here that rust doesnt seem to be a problem. (No, as in NO salt ever laid down for ice).

So, brilliant job on the BX, and the FFFFFFffffford too (Twas very hard to say that) If the Cit was mine I wouldnt let a spraygun anywhere near it..
Brilliant car.
