Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

It's a good venue, the Rural Life Centre. Nice big area for the cars, and lots of other stuff to see as well so wives/children/girlfriends have some entertainment too.

I'm going to a festival that weekend so I probably won't be there... although I suppose I could pop in on the way home on the Sunday, assuming the people I'm with don't mind!

I went last year to this....the it's a great location. Quite an unusual place to have a car show, as it's all a bit scattered out but would be a great place to camp.....might be worth having another mini-national if anyones up for trekking down here

Either way, I'll definately be there on the sunday although I'll probably only bring one BX this time.

A bit too far for me too!
Tell the guy with that lovely Birotor that I'll give him £50 deposit and £2 a week for a couple of years for it!

You should have seen it on the way home. We're sitting at 70mph or there abouts on the A1(m) and he absolutely tanked it past  Like three figures tanking it.

He's brave :!:

I agree. Just goes to show a car doesn't have to be good to be loved.

Although I'd still have an SM over it :P

NEWSFLASH! (From the CCC website)

As you may be aware, the GS Rally this coming weekend (11-12 August) is being held at the Rural Life Centre near Guildford again.

This is, of course, quite close to the recent Foot and Mouth infected sites.

The Rural Life Centre have confirmed that there will be biohazard precautions taken for all visitors and vehicles entering the site, due to the presence of sheep at the centre, but that the event IS STILL ON.

I believe this will mean a drive-thru disinfectant station and something for footwear as well. Please don't let this put you off coming!

Cheers,

Mark.

One more thing - a reminder that if you're coming down on the Saturday, we're having a convoy drive around Farnham, possibly to the castle, then on to lunch at the 17th century Bush Hotel in the town centre. Departs from the Rural Life Centre at c. 11:30am. Maps will be provided, but here's some links if you want to print out your own:

http://www.farnham.gov.uk/fileadmin/con ... am-map.pdf

http://www.mercure.com/mercure/fichehot ... tion.shtml

Sunday is however the main rally day, so, if you're coming a long distance just for the day, Sunday is the day to come.

See you there!

Mark.

So how was it?

I'm just back from Fairport's Cropredy Convention (in the sodding Astra) and that was great.
