If it's just a head gasket then yeah, they're easy to do.

Emailed him, it doesnt go, batteries flat and says the ignition switch is faulty?

Odd that he says the engines fine when running. How can it be if it's overheating??

Due to him also saying that he cant find the bleed's I suspect it had an air lock and cooked the head gasket.

I duno, could be ok, but something tells me it'll need alot of money injecting..

One question remains though: Who's Ned and when is he rescuing it?

Actually the one thing about this listing that bugs the hell out of me is why it's a private one?
I've know idea why the seller has done it but it makes people suspicious and will lose him bids.

Agreed Billy, these private listings irritate the hell out of me. Even if I actually wanted the car, I wouldn't bid because of it.

And you are not alone Doc. I've spoke to loads of people who never bid on private listings. In fact I seem to recall eBay said a few months ago that they were phasing them out. Sooner the better for me.

Yeah, alot of the guys I know in the old bus scene wont touch anything with private listings..

The whole idea is rubbish, I'm amazed E-bay ever brought it in, if they are going to phase them out then it really cant happen soon enough.

I honestly think they actually like schill bids (though I'm not saying it's the case with this BX) because they get more commission, especially when something is pushed to reserve.

Thats the only reason I can think of for bringing it in at all.

Theres certainly no benefit for anyone other thn the people that make money out of the bay, ie sellers and E-bay themselves..
