Ooh, yeah, apart from the awful wheeltrims that car looks stunning.

I've been thinking about getting an GTi Auto for ages now (left ankles a bit knackered and sometimes I struggle in a manual), but then I decided I'd rather have an XM 2.1TD auto with EVERYTHING.
So, so I keep waiting for the right XM to turn up, or have a dabble on this...... :?:
hhmm.......decisions decisions...
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I'd go for it if I were you. The GTi 8v and auto box is a sublime combination. And get Speedlines on it! Shame it's not got air con but then again that option does blunt performance a bit.

If it had Air-con I'd be there already ripping the guys arm off mate!

Now I'm old I'll gladly sacrafice a bit of power for comfort.

That said, I could install air con in this, or any other car, and your right, it's a cracking colour.......hhmmmmm.........

Oh, and needless to say, as with every other car in fleet, speedline's, 16v calipers and Monza interior will be top of the "fit" list!

Triton green is a cool colour on BXs.

Draycotts near me so Im happy to take a look at it on anyones behalf or can help with the collection if you buy it chris, sorry WHEN you buy it!

Good summary Tim as I still have to get motivated to convert my aircon into working charge!
Why are you worried about extra fuel - doesn't the company car come with that? :?

Just rang the seller.

Its apparently provisionally sold for £600. Just waiting for somebody to collect then it'll be removed from ebay.

Air con is a wonderful, wonderful thing. Seriously. I always thought it was an unnecessary extravagance but since I picked up the courtesy Astra I haven't turned it off. And it still returns 36mpg. I'm really going to miss that when I have to give it back.

Air con took 3mpg easily away from my Megane and I wasn't that impressed with it. It obviously wasn't working right though because my Mondeo has it and it's like a fridge inside, superbly ice cold and very pleasant to have.
