bx electric door mirrors

Does anyone on here know where i can get 2 NEW electric door mirrors for my 16v ?? Ive seen new manual operated ones but i want electric. cheers rob

They do come up matey but they are rare, Ive made do with some good used ones, which I may get painted to match the car

Thats why i want new because im going to get them painted red to match the car but i dont like the idea of painting used ones cause of all the pitting or marks in them??? Or im i just being paranoid

I want my 16v to look its best

Your being paranoid mate, get some used ones, as long as they are properly prepared there should be no bother?

Well, if you want new, you can get them from Citroën, but the price will cripple you, I know, I replaced the drivers side on mine......Stupidly expensive.

GSF *DID* do electric mirrors for more sensible money, but I haven't checked for a couple of years now, so they probably dont anymore, since they aren't interested in BX's anymore.....

I'm with Tim on this one. If you get some in good order then a bit of graft with the preperation and you'll have them looking perfectly good in no time. Have you asked Charlotte/Medway Citroen on here if they have any by the way?

Thinking about it i may have a couple of used electric mirrors hanging around but ive got to find them!. Im planning to completley change the front end styling on the 16v for 2008 with new bonnet, bumper,fogs and the mirrors will complete the look

Im Afraid its staying with me because its the only uncracked intact front 16v bumper ive ever seen!!. I will keep it as a spare cause you never know........Theres a lot of bad driving round here (drecly if you know what i mean) plus with having 2 16vs running daily spares are essentual.

Aye, good call mate. I have never seen a perfect front bumper, hence the cheeky ask! Both of mine are a bit battered..
