Another Tizzy D. Derby this time.

Post by cavmad »

Honest wording and list of known faults, I think this is quite reasonable. Most of the listed faults shouldn`t be too much trouble (except maybe the leak)-exhaust probably wants some kind of bracket bodging on, tacho doesn`t really matter and I suppose if the ABS isn`t dangerous it should be o.k.
Long MOT too, personally if I could afford to buy it I`d smoke it round `til the test ran out and break it for spares .

Doesnt in my opinion look too bad from those photos.

I wonder what the welding under the back seat is about?

Cant imagine what he been welding under there. If you feel like going for a look Ian, I'd be interested to know what the general condition of the bodywork is like.

I've asked him a question about the tax, he says he's willing to sell it for the surrender value.
They think it's all over, it is now!

£150 buy it now its a cheap one alright, just a shame as its a estate. Always thought they look a bid odd, but very practical.

I`d personally see how the bidding goes mate before shoving your offer on. Always difficult to gaauge these things and if you bid early some twit will outbid you and send the price to a stupid level

I quite like the estate - presently I keep having this recurring dream I have bought a Blue Estate... Odd

You could always use
www.Auctionsniper.com

First 3 snipes are free - after that its 2% of the final bid price. It automatically shoves a bid in 3 seconds before the end of the auction - I have won a fair few things like that

I drew short of using that, or one like it, as it asked for my eBay log in details and I worried that someone may use the details for ill-gotten gains.

Been using auctiosniper for about 12 months now with no problems on my eBay account - (brownowl99 if you want to check my f/b) I think personally its a subsiduary of fleebay, but one they keep under wraps, as I found out about it off the eBay RT forum from one of the charity auctions I did - that and the fact their payments come from paypal (also owned by fleebay).... hmmm :?:

Agreed. Bit underhand just because someone`s shown an interest.
