In certain pubs round here now it's over £3 a pint. It might be cheaper for lager, duno, I only drink ale. The girls are rough as hell up here. Well, most of them! Some of them are so rough you could use them to sand your walls!!

I'm envious mate, I get down to Cornwall as often as I can (which hasn't been often enough over the last couple of years) and everytime it's harder and harder to come back to Bristol. I'm sure oneday I'll go for a week and stay forever.

I have no idea if theres any meets later in the year TBH, although lets face it, next year isn't far away now!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I always thought that your neck of the woods had the reputation of quality offerings. :? After all, it was responsible for renaming that part of a girl's anatomy "Bristols".

Ambulance driver: "You took the words right aht my marf!"

Babs: "Oooh, saucy!"

Actually the term Bristol's was derived from Bristol the company rather than the city, although Bristol was based in, er, Bristol....

Mate, just go to Hartcliffe, or Withywood, or any other south of the river sh!thole and check the "talent" out, all clad in Burberry, smoking 500 L&B a day, all on the social, 19 kids by different fathers before the age of 20, and sound rougher than a Chainsaw cutting glass.

Common trollops the lot of them.

Billy, you slay me again!!

Not wishing to sound too argumentative or controversial, but....

I've always been under the impression that the term "Bristols" goes back to Cockney rhyming slang....

"Bristol CITYs" = "Titties"

   :D :P

So are lots of things and being honest I find 'Bristols' more interesting than BX's.
I might be on my own there, though I some how doubt it!

I thought that was the origin too. :? No doubt Doc can give us an entertaining answer for his interpretation of the origin too? 8)

hhmm, you could be right! I duno, I know the term became popular in Bristol itself after the slogan "ship shape and Bristol fashion" entered the vocablary.

I'll do a wikipedia!!

Still, a fine pair of Bristols (be they attached to a female flavour person, or indeed a pair of RE's) is a beautiful thing to behold!
