Yep....thats the "old bird"!!

I offered him a little more than that at the time, but he was holding out for more.
Now I can't take it on (even if I still wanted to) as I'm collecting Adam's Mk1 in a couple of weeks!!

The car's a runner, but DOES need quite a lot of TLC, plus a screen, before putting her up for MOT.
Taxed till end of August, so he's got to get shut before then as its parked on the road.

Surely someone's got room to save this, I must say I am tempted myself but its a bit far away from me to justify, oh and the missis would go spare. Seems too good to scrap really.

It's not far from me, but to be honest, I'm sure much better examples have gone to the yards.

I think this one is doomed. :(

Afraid to say I agree! If I wasn't having the GT I would probably have taken it, but even though it IS a runner, the cost of a new screen and initial £70 (ish) makes it uneconomical, even if nothing else was needed for MOT. Aopart from that, a LOT of remedial work is needed to the paintwork, and interior.
One for the crusher, I think!

Thanks Mulley. I remember this one from last time. It looks a bit too much like my last shed!

I think I should be able to get something with some T&T that doesn't require imminent work. A higher spec than RS would be nice too.

Sad to say, but I think Ken's right; this one's dead.

I'd have had a punt had it been nearer but I sure as hell wouldn't have spent anything on it. Few parts removed then off to the metal yard and being honest I'd be extremely suprised if that doesn't happen to it when the new owner buys it.

You go to Wood Auto Factors in Wakefield and buy a length of windscreen wire for about 4quid and make some handles from a sweeping brush handle, make a tiny hole in the screen adhesive, thread the wire through and saw the screen out :)
