Just received this email from Syd Tombleson:

Hi Folks,

just a reminder that we have meet up arranged at the Lavender Line Steam Railway,
Isfield East Sussex from 12.00 on Sunday 23rd Sept, I was offered a field, but I elected for the Station forecourt, which previously we have managed 14 cars on it with ease.

I thought the field may be a bit ambious, if we get 6 cars I will be happy, anymore attendees most welcome,

A pub next to the station does food, and railway should have their hot & cold buffet bar open..

Anyone in the south fancy joining us? This place is just up the road from my girlfriend's so I know the pub well; the food there is excellent and they have a good choice of beer. Also steam trains are good. We'll be there in a Citroen... K's Xsara . :oops:

I/we may be up for that, as we've already scouted out the venue haven't we :wink: pub food was nice, I'd like to explore the Lavender Line some more... Didn't I say this was a good place for a car meet?

Syd is the local CCC guy - all Citroens welcome.

Last time I went to one of the local CCC meets I turned up in my ex-girlfriend's Micra as Sally was playing up. I parked it behind a hedge at the end of the field :oops:
