Again a £100 for a car with no MOT and high miles! Mind you DTR turbos are getting rare.

Sounds almost identical to my daily driver 1989 DTR turbo, the £60 wonder with both tax and ticket for about 4 months. Granted, that was cheap, but starting a car like this at £100 and without photos has to be a silly idea.

I would like a white 19DTR non turbo as its a car my dad brought home which was a "pool car" when his was in dock, it was ditched but I spent hours cleaning it and sent it back shining (in 1989), had the lovely hard wearing grey herringbone trim and all the extras, BX porn to me back then lol

I had one of them too, and scrapped it as it was somewhat rotten, and a bit of a shed. Shame, as it was a freebie and even had about 38 minutes of MOT remaining.

If you remember the "BX hanging from the gantry" picture, that was it.

I wouldn't ever get a mystery car without an MoT again - you just don't know what you're going to get into. I once got a free GSA with no MoT - and spent about £500 and a couple of months getting it to pass. Not good.

Then there was the £50 Saab 900 which only failed on minor things, so I fixed those... and it presented new faults at the re-test. Fixed that, and again new faults at the second re-test. So I put it back on eBay where I found it.

I'd bid higher if he'd MoT'd it and posted the fail sheet; at least then you know what work you need to do.

Shame though - that car's a nice spec.
