Just spotted this on eBay (local to me). Not my cup of tea but seem to recall a couple (or more) enthusiasts of these on here. Don't really know what I'm looking at but happy to go and cast an eye over it for someone if wanted and could talk you round the car by mobile.
Thats very nice of you Billy. I would me mad to buy another so its not for me. Looks a tad scruffy but if it sells for £250 its worth it for the few months MOT, which it would almost certainly need a lot of work for. Think of it as a cheap hire car lol.
One for Tom. Doesn't he have a soft spot for these? (the swamp?) The interiors really got downgraded on the last models. There's a couple of the earlier ones here in a local yard with great space age interiors.

Very true! However, it is just the amount of work and time rather than difficulty so if your happy underneath it a weekend a month, its not too much of a problem. Anuthing can be tackled with time. However, the GTi's, turbo's and C-Matics do tip them over the edge into the overly complex arena I think.
