Its got aircon, i'm feeling all weak at the knees

Don't believe the ad.

That car doesn't have A/C. If it did it would have two hoses coming from the condenser in front of the radiator and it would have two interior blower fans and recycling flaps.

I didnt look at the engine bay, i was looking at the dash & it looked like there were the aircon slidey controls on view. Perhaps it didnt work so had the pipes removed???

I wont be bidding as i'm in the wrong country & its lhd & its a bx so its bound to have issues......

Hmm, I don't think the seller is trying to con anyone, more likely just "filled out the form wrong". If he wanted us to believe there was A/C on that, he would have mentioned it in the write-up somewhere before the boring JVC CD player, and taken shiftier pics of the interior - it's quite plain to see there are NO controls for A/C in there.

A few months back Phil put a BX on ebay and a ton of people remarked about how suspicious our ad was, considering we had washed the car before taking the pictures (well, you should never buy a car in the rain!), never mind that the car had dried before I took the pictures.

Generally, if you bid for a car on ebay, turn up and discover it's actually totally different from what was advertised, you are well within your right to walk away. Internet thingummybobs are covered by the distance selling laws, which means that sadly, Phil and I can't take pictures of tonka toys really close to the camera with us waving in the background, put them on ebay and say "tough luck" when someone comes to collect their pristine SM only to be handed one of our spectacular telly-top ornaments (we have an Ami, too!).

If some sap were to bid on that car, win, turn up and go "where's me A/C?" and walk away, Pierre there wouldn't have a (frog's) leg to stand on.

Did ya like my little joke there? frogs-leg? Ha ha?
