Hi All
Blurb on the BX is below, Ken thanks for posting these piccies for me! :D

1989 “G” Citroen BX 1.7tzd
Mileage – 77426 Genuine
MOT until June 2008
Tax until end of year

I am second owner, I bought from an old couple who bought from new when they retired, it had done very few miles over last couple of years as the guy was blind in one eye and his wife had started using a Zimmer. The car had lived in their garage all its life. I have bought the car just over a year ago as I do high mileage for work and wanted an economical workhorse, and I like things that are a bit different. I do however feel the need for something automatic (my last 2 cars where), and also feel that I am ruining something that’s perhaps a little bit more worthy than being used as my workhorse.

The car is in excellent condition (not perfect though, but very, very good).
Interior is almost immaculate, only fault is obviously the glove box (it is there though!).

Outside the paintwork is very good. Only faults are one headlamp has a crack (but does not seem to letting in water), windscreen is cracked, but would get this done in insurance prior to sale, that’s it. Also rust has just started on passenger side rear inside of door, common on these I think, anyway it was only surface, I have scrubbed back to treat with rustkiller, but was only going to cover with rustproof paint, but have not done so yet, so you would be able to judge for yourself. I can take and send a picture of this to anyone who is interested.

I have the original purchase document, brochures, lots old service history, Ray Williams of Burnham has looked after it for me, and he is a Citroen Specialist. The only thing I have done myself is a regular oil change around every 6,000 miles.
The car starts, runs and drives perfectly.
Cambelt was done last year, need to dig out the invocie to check mileage when done.

I am looking for £750 for the car, and I do need to buy a replacement before I can let her go, but that would not take long. If anyone has a reliable diesel auto I may be interested in a swap with / without cash.
The difference between 'involvement' and 'commitment' is like an eggs-and-ham breakfast: the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'committed'.
