The G's ARE totally fabulous cars. There aren't that many other cars that
you can really grab by the scruff of the neck and drive like a sports car
with such superb roadholding yet having a supple/pliant ride. I especially
love driving my 1220's - their turbine like high revs are very addictive!

Yes I totally agree. And there's no contest between which has the best engine note between my GSA and the BX16. E.g. overtaking a truck on the A3 joining road last week, giving it some welly in 2nd, 3rd and 4th. The noise is exhilarating! If only it had a precise short throw gearbox. I'd love to take a G round a track in anger. I've been round the Le Mans circuit.... but that was with hundreds of other cars. Got up to 60 mph by the end of the main straight before backing off to avoid a demolition derby!!
