Spoilsport..
I was hoping for a decent 8V versus 16V beer fest battle....

As it goes, theres all of the above in the fleet.
3 16v's
unique TD auto
8V GTi Auto
Hybrid TD
CX 22
CX Turbo GTi
2.0i ZX Volcane
1.9i ZX Volcane (the best ZX)

the 8V GTi auto is a hoot to drive, but it just doesn't make the same noise as a valver.... It's sex on rubber.....

Right, off for more beer!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Nah, I'm not up for a battle. I don't like to come across as an argumentative tw@t.

My 8V GTI with the non standard exhaust is sex on rubber though. At 4000RPM you just melt. It makes the best sound....and I rekon that it's comparable to the 16V.

Remember that my GTI has a DKZ engine in it which is different to your GTI. It's the smoothest sounding engine too and is unlike any other BX i've ever heard, even my earlier TZI and TRI which have te same engine....idles with the same sound as a valver...trust me...so smooth yet grunty.

Have a beer for me!

I've been a raving loon for years, it's quite good actually!

I never sleep either..
Well, rarely, and for sporadic amounts of time, although I should really, got to tax the car in the morning, I'll need a lie down after getting mugged by the government....

It's getting an expensive hobby taxing cars these days isn't it? Taxed two at the end of August, the truck tax (cheaper than a car!) is up in December and the Mercedes is going to have to wait. Not too fussed about the latter as don't really want to drive it in the winter anyhow.

Here if you don't tax the car when it comes up for renewal you have to get a new MOT.

Blooming hell mate that seems harsh. I suppose it could work out cheaper just to tax it to save the hassle of doing another MOT?

Absolutely....that's why we have cars here taxed that aren't used for 8 out of the 12 months of the year.

Cars here don't need a MOT done ever unless you transfer to another owner or your tax runs out.

Blimey, the badge went for £14.05 + p&p in the end. I nearly bid myself but I've already got a load of badges somewhere...might be worth selling them!! Was it anyone on here who won the badge?

Umm...BX Bandit....It's me who bought it. It's me that buys them all as I have a collection of them.

I should be called the badge collector (or badge theif!)...maybe Jonkw can arrange that???

You mentioning having a load got me ears pricking up.

If you're interested in selling dust em off and PM me a brief summary of what you have. You never know, I might buy em all off you.
