Not a BX but a potentially massive bargain...

...why does this have to be so far away and are the clutches really that expensive? Fine looking machine for the money and no mistaking!...

A thousand pounds
He must be going to a garage run by the Mafia!

Since it's you Billy, I could get a clutch for about a ton, and fit it for free!

Not my bag, I dont really like XM estates, but it is a tidy looking car that!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

I like XMs hatchbacks or estates, but especially diesel ones with leather and manual boxes.

That will be interesting, can't see it going very cheap but you never know.

Doc is right, the clutch is about £100, I've done two on XM's and although a bit more involved than the BX, thoroughly enjoyed doing them.

I'm having a love affair with my XM at the moment.

I cant help but think a manual XM would be a sod with that footbrake. Any comments?

The ride quality of the XM makes a BX feel like its on leaf springs.

Funny things those XMs. Didn't like them at first but everytime I see one now I wish I owned one.

Yeah, the "parking brake" is a bit of a let down with manual cars. Although I only tend to use it when parking on steep hills. Just stick it in gear the rest of the time.

But it is amazing how many times my left foot and right hand go for the levers every time I'm in anything else. :D

That XM is a proper Euro Wagon! Even me, keeper of the BX ( Mk.1) flame, gets the X (cough)..M disease when I see that and those wheels it's sitting on. Why, oh why couldn't Citroen have put one last mad interior in it?? ( like the 70s CXs brought forward?)

I wonder what the reserve is. It's got to be worth someone near-ish to Truro taking a punt!

They ain't got long! May be worth an email to the seller after it's ended if there's not a late flurry of activity

£147 reserve not met. That, in my opinion, is what you get when you have a private listing.
