Cheap(ish) GTi.

Post by cavmad »

Not mine, spotted on Retro-Rides. Sounds familiar, as daft as that sounds. One of your old ones Phil?

Price £250 ono

Engine: 1.9 GTi
colour: white
Transmition: Auto
Year: 1989
Millage: 65,700
windows: 4 X electric
sunroof: Electric
doors: Central locking
Brakes: ABS
Stearing: Power Stearing
MOT: til April 2008
Millage: Aproximatly 67000
Location: Croydon, Surrey

there is even an LCD screen that tells u when a door is open

No RUST at all
the paintwork is Emaculate(i don't think it is peeling anywhere)
However it does have the odd scrapes here and there consistent with the age.

The heating is amazing (as soon as the car drives it turns on)

(hydraulics working as new)

I've had this car for only a few months (used it as a first car)

I absolutely love it because it is very fast and it is more comfortable than my dads Mercedes & Audi. A very smooth drive.

The car has never ever broken down (i knew the previous owner well). I've driven it to Portsmouth and back several times and never had any problems.

The car always starts first time.

I don't want to sell it however I need a newer car for work purposes (it just wont be the same)

I will throw in the following for the buyer:

- Some seat covers that add to the feel of the car
- A steering wheel cover (i just find the Citroen steering to be a little thin)
- Pyle 4" Speakers

The kenwood CD stereo was stolen from the car. However my brother is selling his in dash DVD player (with usb and SD card reader RRP: £150). I can Give you this for £50.00 including installation (which costs about £65)

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Yep, in retrospect you are quite right.
Having read them all again, I agree, the other one is clearly the better car!

It was actually spotted advertised somewhere else for £200. Seems a fair price to me.

I ain't got no folding stuff dude or I would be. Being honest the fact it's an auto puts me off a smidge too. I have this burning desire to do a track day and want something fast, manual and obscure. Like an XM estate for example
