Air con.

Post by Geoffrey Gould »

Hello Tom.Could you tell me a little more about the air con please. My son wishes to fit it to his BX its a 19 RD 1989.Cutting holes, fabricating brackets and welding is not a problem. I asumb that a different heater panel and wiring harness would be needed. What I am trying to ask, without involving you in hours of discussion is is the system complete? He is not on the internet otherwise I would get him to contact you himself.
Thank you for your trouble Tom.
Cheers.
Geoff.

It is absolutely complete. All the mechanical bits are there and the wiring. I bought it from somebody who had built a 205-16 and the BX it came out of had 106K on the clock. There are two buttons to work it, both are on the centre console. Aircon on and recirculate. There is a complete heater and both recirculators as well.
