BX steel wheels wanted.

Post by cavmad »

Wanted set of four BX steels, the type with no holes around the rim. Need to be in decent condition and air tight and would really help if local to me. Cash/beer tokens waiting. Tyres don't really matter by the way.

Got one spare with a decentish tyre.

Billy - do you want a Mini Metro Knightsbridge? Owner has no V5 though (lost) - the engine is shagged so its a non runner, but still MOT'd.

Cheers Marty, where about is it please? Have to say, with respect, it does sound like a direct scrapper though.

Car is in Blackpool, I agree its a scrapper - she says you can have it for a tenner! Its that nurses I once asked about a car for. It has good tyres!

I've got numerous BX narrow steel wheels kicking about, and I'm sure could put together three, or possibly four. They'll all have just-about-barely-legal tyres on too.

Getting them to you might be interesting though.

ship them with Doc, he keeps threatening to come up here!

Billy you realise they are just ford PCD's so if you just want them for that valver to have the rims off then you could slap some escort steel rims on?

Cheers Vanny, and David. They have to be the plain old BX steels though mate, nothing else will suffice. Tyres won't matter if good or bad.

Marty: leave it with me a day or so please if that's ok. If I don't have it I'll sure as hell find someone who will.

Yay - no worries Billy, if it was a runner I might have had a play with it myself (having just discovered one of my other collegues scrapped an Audi 100 for £40  which was perfectly OK, just needed some welding). Keep looking for something suitably cheap and shite to tinker with, though to be honest I really want a PTW to muck about with.

Give her some booze / fags / nefarrious action and it may well be free, you know what nurses are like....
