BX 16 Valve spotted

Post by kiwi »

Yea the Kiwi spotted a Black BX 16Valve in Taupo, New Zealand in the same street as a mint condition 2CV, along with a ZX and even parked his own BX beside a C5.
Now thats what I call a good 100 mtres of Citty spotting
The Valver was rather let down by the naffest pair of Alloy wheels I have ever seen which looked like they cam off of some abandoned Subaru with a complex.
Things are looking up the BXs are coming out the wood work probably as a result of the warmer weather...lol.

I didn't think there were any black BX's in OZ / NZ??
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Could have been an import? Driver was quite young aka around early twenties which was a surprise but then explains the totally lack of taste for the alloy wheels.

To be honest had to give it a second look because it did not look like a BX because of those naff wheels and lack of badging on the rear. Pretty sure as well he had it in the second ride position.

He clearly needs educating!
Speedlines are THE ONLY wheels that should adorn a BX.
If you see him again, slap him and tell him that was courtesy of the Doc!

I was planning on getting the car impounded on the grounds of bad taste in wheels.

Meantime the old NO BLACK BX 16 VALVE theory in NZ has gonne out the window with this, and the guy needs more than just eductaing.

Curious! I was sure they didn'y import black BX's to oz / NZ.. oh well..

The car looks good, even if the knobhead owner is, er, a knobhead...

Looks a damnsite tidier than mine does right now...

Yes its a devil in disguise, firstly the owner has not replied to emails so did some digging. The mechnic that worked on it said leave it alone as it has major overheating problems, could be the waterpump but could be an arm and a leg.
