 Blasphemy!!, but nice to see that they have salvaged some of the parts for reuse before wrecking the remains.. :-)

Regards.

Let Tim at it with a bit of spit 'n' polish and it'll be as good as new again. :D

Theres an irony to this and I discovered this on sunday during our Christams Party when a former member was going through the Photo Albums. Turns out that the cutting gear which is due to be replaced next year was first used on a BX back in 1993. Would it not be more ironic if that was the last time it got used.
I am a little Peeved I was not present at the begining of this cutting or participating as they sent me on a mission to light a bonfire and burn some branches in a controlled burn off.
Gratitude for donating the car that I did not get to see the purpose it went to but at least wife got some shots for me.

Seeing the end result has bought tears to my eye's - what a shame to see one of the finest pieces of French Engineering have to go this way.  [/img]

Hey Danny welcome to the mad house

Put it this way at least it went in style rather than rotting away or being squashed. A few cutting techniques learned sadly not by me thanks to a stuff up :x

Quite a good way for a car to go, I'd say, assuming it was a scrapper anyway.

Indeed, it's only a car, and they have to train on something right..
So, the death of that car may make the difference between life and death for someone involved in a crash.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Yes she was and well she went out in style. I still have regret though for dismantling her probably could have kept going for a few more years yet driven Road Illegal. Especially could have used her going up a track which is supposed to be car suitable in the bush behind us.
