Ive got to say I do get good economy on the 19TRS that I have considering what it is, theres still some aversion to Petrol BXs unless its a 16v which is a shame.
Economy or not isn't the reason I dislike petrol engines. I much prefer the torque delivery of a Diesel engine, and I dislike the fragility of the spark ignition system.
There's also the issue of Diesel fuel being a much safer liquid to carry around.
Im used to a TDi engines in my company hacks and concur with the torque, its very useful and makes for relaxed drving, but after all its a freebie, so not to be sniffed at.
