Do bikes have to pay rfl according to their emmissions?

I just wonder how ecological bikes really are, most don't do as many mpg as cars!!!! so wonder what the emmissions are like....

Brave man Ian, a neighbour decided after too many close calls, biking to work & back, to call it a day on biking (got a family etc...)

i run the pug405 on bio diesel which at the moment is 85.5 per ltr and yes she can be slow to start with a lot of white smoke and a bit ofspluttering but once up and running there is no problem at all ,i agree there are some so called people selling bio that has not been properly "cleaned"but what can you do?

While we are on the save the planet quest for a smaller footprint and doing away with chinese and indian thingy.

Try looking up AIR CAR and see what you make of that.
It's french and it runs on compressed air.
How about an air powered BX.

regards Kermit :) :)

I'm not that fussed TBH.
A: I dont believe this Global Warming rhetoric that spews forth from idiots in Whitehall that lie about everything from taxes to weapons of mass destruction.

B: In a bit over 3 billion years the sun's going to implode and destroy the entire solar system, so the earth will be unbelievably warmed, incinerated infact, so it wont matter.
Although by then I've no doubt every last human will be long dead since we'll all kill each other.

yeah what the hell with all this water around we could do with some hot weather.
Anyway why should fossil fuels be so bad i mean the trees that ended up as coal took co2 out of the prehisoric atmosphere when they were growing so its allready a bio fuel.
It just took a few million years to mature.
and oils well that ends well as they say.

Boom boom!!

I doubt we'll be allowed to drive fossil fuelled powered cars before long anyway, certainly within the next 20 years I imagine that only the very richest of people will be able to drive.

Since there's plenty more oil down there seems wasteful to leave it IMHO.

I did some work in the nineties in Brunei and they were saying then that they had enugh oil reserves to last for the next eighty years so i agree it would be a hell of a waste.

Still if we could find a way to get all that potential power from the biggest and growing source around WATER i mean it is made up of oxygen and hydrogen you could make a fortune.
And we know what happens when you burn hydrogen in oxygen it makes more water so hey lets get going.

Sorry got into getting something for nothing mode i wonder what the tax on water would be silly me.
