FLicking through a sales brochure I've got the other day they look to be a semi match with some. I think what the centre cap says is largely irrelevant given the ese of, well, getting other centre caps.
for what they're wanting for them, they're worth getting. they wouldn't look too bad in my opinion.

at worst you should be able to recoup the costs in scrap alloy which alledgedly goes for almsot $2 a kilo.

Which part of the Nth Island are you in?

I dunno I am still sceptical, Dont quite look right! Anyways I was thinking of checking them out as I live in the central North Island and Travel to Hamillton 3 times a week. Got a few hours in the day spare to wander over to the sellers place.

Didnt realise scrap was going for that kind of price saying that I have a old Copper hot water cylinder to get rid of, wonder what thats worth.

Is it getting to the point now that scrap is actually worth more than the cars?

I reckon these are Alfa Romeo wheels...my mate has an Alfasud Spring which has these fitted. Apparently they were from a 155 although a quick Google search doen't throw up any pictures.

Hi kiwi. Copper is around 7 bucks a kg at the moment but you would be hard pressd to find a scrappy giving out more then $5 but even so...

Those are fairly 'orrible looking wheels and not at all as classy as one would expect from a supplier to Citroen. melt 'em down i say..haha.

Scrap steel?. Just on $200 per tonn.lovely jubbly, I give 'em me forklifts but I would never consign a Citroen to the scrap man. Decent burial or cremation with full service is almost compulsery, Pssst cutting 'em up with Fire Service equip is very o.k.

hang onto it for a bit as apparently scrap prices have dropped temporarily.
scrap is worth more than car, especially later model stuff thats not desirable to be parted out.

Duno 'bout that Bazz, I reckon I've got more BX's in the shed than were ever imported to NZ!!
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Thats one big shed then Doc

Said that a few months ago probably agreed with you BUT NOW well the BXs seem to be appearing back on the road spotted a Grey 19GTI in Wellington last week (was that you Cam?) so far spotted 6 in Hamilton and a couple on route to Hamilton. Then again there was a rally in Wanagnui a few weeks ago, one of our members here sent me some photos (cheers Danny).

Now what we should do is all meet up on Ruapehu one weekend

Mine's not a gti, sadly. and it's been parked up in feilding for the past week and a bit awaiting work on the rear suspension (leaky boot) to get a wof so i can drive it more
I've a 16v engine though, but that's going into my pug 205 with a selection of hot bits.
