After performing virtually faultlessly for 3 years, my XM is now having a well earned rest until the spring. Having been BXless for a few weeks I took this one on ,because it was offered at the right price and it's an M reg.
In truth it's been one of the worst restoration jobs I've tackled. It's suffered 6 years of maintenance by one crap garage. Driving it home, you'd never have known there was anything wrong with it all. But trust me, I found plenty, it still has a few issues and it didn't seem to want to be saved. It's fought me every inch of the way. But it's here now!

Well done Ken, look forward to finding out what you uncovered as you were sorting her out, wasnt the same garage that i used to use was it
It's a disease alright. In truth, I thought it would be easier to MOT this rather than my XM, not that the XM needs that much doing, it's just that it don't fit in the garage, with room to work.

The wheel trims on tzds are classics from 80s sci-fi throwback land. Thats what people comment on most round here, how cool they are. Although i sometimes harp after some fatter tyres, mine are staying on!
Nice looking car that.
Best in white though (in my personal opinion) I accept tastes differ.

actually having a look at millbanksunclub's estate, those fat alloys do look pretty cool. I may be tempted. Anyone? I'll be over in UK somepoint in the next couple of months.
I obviously don't know my own mind.
Or maybe its the wine talking.

Oh and 17TZD by the way.
Oh yes sorry, the lack of the chrome grille and the two tone bumpers should have given it away, must have been to much "Vino" has sent my eyes funny
