Amusing object found in BX 19 engine bay Shower Cap

Is it normal to find what looks like a shower cap around the distributor cap? I have one on my distributor on my BX19 auto

Yeah I've seen those before. AX GT's used to come with them too, if they had the Ducieller dizzy cap. It's just (intended) to stop damp getting in, but they usually fall off or get eaten or something.

Ok Ill whip it off tomorrow so I can clean the cap up.
