Just filled up, 540 miles on 50 litres = 49mpg, not bad considering all the hills & stop start traffic on my 40mile round trip to work & back with my wife as passenger as well. Oh, & thats on my winter tyres which must have more drag than summer tyres.....

I drove my bus through Iran in 1999, and at that time, diesel was a penny a litre. Quite an experience!

I can beat that when i was working in Brunei we used to go to the government filling station and just sign for our fuel it was free. 8)
