The 16v has returned from the dead!

I had the first feeling of joy with it today, the same it gave me last year before I blew it! Lots of cleaning and love to follow.

Great - thanks for warning me so that I can take cover when its run in!

It will make a change to see it round Southampton where the only ones I seem to see at the moment are white and generally estates!

No running in taking place so you'd best find shelter now!

Following Puma Racing's advice with regards to new engines.....basically load it up through the gears and lots of engine braking up to around 100miles. Then proceed to drive it like I stole it! They insist that is the best way to run the XU9J4 in....it wants to be! :lol:

So far so good I'm happy to report. If you see me about stop and say hello.
