Dont worry Bazza, the main thing is your is cherished, will be seeing the signwriters next week about remaking the GT badge for the bonnert, did you want a black one making up to keep for yours? I will get a quote and let you know.

I may get some half sizes ones made up too to put elsewhere

I've got an artwork, Tim. I just need to know the exact width/height so I can make sure the proportions are spot on. This is derived from a GTi logo (which is 'stretched) and 'recompressed' to match the original GT logo so may be different from what you have. Can you also give me a line thickness. I can send artwork for the stickers to you.

Impressive Phil, the original logo on my car is a bright red colour and is a little thicker than your picture . The design itself though looks spot on 8) ! Will have another look when I get daylight and get measurements.

Whats the costings on something like this Phil?

The artwork would be black and white for the purposes of supplying to the sticker maker, it would be used for the cutter. Then you could have the GT cut out of whatever colour they have.

I can make the line thicker, and adjust the proportions to match what you have (just let me have the dimensions) and e-mail you with a PDF to supply your chosen local sticker/sign maker (use Yellow Pages - as good a bet as anything). I can't imagine it would cost much.

That looks ace, never thought i'd say that about a beige coloured car, well done to all bx members involved in saving & restoring her back to glory from start to finish.

Another few years & there just wont be any of these left, so got to get saving them now......

 Just a thought

If you produce an accurate Pdf , Can you not print that and use the lines to carefully & accurately cut a stencil with a scalpel?

Tape or stick it to the bonnet and blow it over with an aerosol paint then remove. Actually with your paint shop connections you can go better than an aerosol, can't you? :D

A stencil will never be as sharp as a transfer or applied vinyl - and the risk of error (well an error that's a pain to put right) is high. I reckon Citroen applied stickers for that reason.

Won't stickers applied as an aftertouch be easily damaged by the washing and polishing though? :?

The original one was 22 years old and in perfect condition, so not really if its good quality.

Does this help? I jotted down the measurements and put them in a safe place... I'll post them when/if I find them.

P.S. not mine Tim, just spotted one in the same colour. I still need a new one.
