Ouch! to the first one.
As for the second one that looks like something the doc should have a go at.
It would need a fair amount of strengthening in the sill area but it's possible.
I think it has to be done just to get it looked at.
maybe someone has a CAD program that could work out the best way to do it make a closed in boot area behind the rear seats.
lets go really mad how about a folding electric roof into the boot.
Regards Kermit

TBH the proportions of that red convertible BX look all wrong. If it's going to be a 3-door, then the doors need to be bigger so there's less of a massive expanse of metal between the b-pillar and the rear wheel. The roll-bar also needs to be either further back, or removed completely.
Also, you'd have difficulty gaining access to the rear seats with such small front doors.
Someone once posted a picture of the Heuliez mock-ups for a 3-door coupe BX. That would be a better basis for a convertible.

You take it too seriously, David. It's just a bit of fun I agree, the door needs to be a 'coupe' length, but in keeping with other Eighties convertibles (BMW, VW for example) there would likely be a roll-bar á la Baur.
Maybe I'll revisit the concept
