Tim, don't take this personal but it's a waste of time doing that as it just bumps the price up for people who are genuinley interested in buying it. If you're going to try and win something on the cheap (which most of us probably do) best to bid right at the end rather than shove the price up for someone else.

To be honest billy I cant really afford it, ive only bid £35 and thats me out, the more people are prepared to pay may decide on what kind of life it has, to some as we know its just a cheap car to use and abuse until the MOT runs out, which would be a shame but I appreciate part of life.

Lets hope its finds a loving home.

Yes, good point. However looking at the current high bidder that's not going to happen.

Oh Bugger  , ive just spent my last few farthings on taxing the Sd1 for 6 months before Mr Darling put the prices up (again) or I would be challenging him.

Stuart, is this any good to you?

I am watching it, but really I'd much rather have a diesel. It's a shame, because that does look very nice indeed for the money.

Except he didn't. As far as I can see the 1973 to 2001 taxation rate hasn't changed, and is still £180 for 12 months or £99 for 6 on a vehicle with engine size over 1549cc
this might be a signature

It did go up David, work gets sent a new list as all the price lists have to be reprinted again! admittidly it wasnt too bad at a whole £5 for a year or £2.75 for the 6 months I bought, but saying that would by me a pint of beer and a packet of crisps :D (if i drank of course lol)

From what I can see everything went up by a fiver this year.

I can fully understand why a fiver a year extra on road tax would stop you bidding a proper amount on a proper car. It all makes sense now  .

I think youve misread my message mate, ive just spent £100 taxing the rover for 6 month which is wheer my spare cash for this month has gone, hence why I cant bit anymore for the 16RE as much as I would like.

Hey, you want to try taxing four vehicles in two months plus two MOTs, repairs, fuel costs and then doing the sensible thing and buying three other cars just for the hell of it. On top of a rather large Saturday night drinking bill

Yes the drinking bill has become rather frightening hasn't it.
The pub doen the road has whacked a rather whopping 25p on a pint of ale.

Thieving ba$tards.

I've had to tax the valver, and another car that isn't even mine, and insured said car that isn't mine, and MoT the bl**dy thing. The things we do for wimmin.....

And I still drink, alot, unless you listen to Vanny, in which case I'm tea total, and I'm just a lowly bus driver, you're in the wrong profession Tim.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
