Mk1 amber front indicators

Post by kermit the frog »

Hi anybody got a mk1
On a trip to the breakers today i came across a mk 1 GT which from the tax disc's on the passengers seat had been on the road as recently as december
The interior had been completely gutted nothing to save there.
the engine looked ok but patly stripped by some sort of monkey.
It was now stuck at the bottom of a three car stack.
I did however manage to remove the two front indicators
R/H slightly damaged but complete apart from top clip broken.
L/H in good condition.
I got the pair for £6.00 if anybody wants them they can have them at cost price plus postage.( i will bubble wrap them and package them cafefully)
they must be as rare as rocking horse poo. :!:

Regards Kermit :) :)

If I buy Chris' diesel Mk 1 I'll have them - and I'll even pop along the A27 to collect them! (I live in Lewes).

Where is the scrappy? Any other useful finds there, maybe?

OI you cheeky feckers that handsome devil in that photo is moi!

I would say in my defence I didnt remove anything off the engine except the top cambeltcover, or the interior except the speedo cable, so i am not that "monkey" you are looking for , sorry

And Mr Chidlow thank you for your efforts

I would say in your defence that it's no wonder you nadged things up under the bonnet if you were facing the other way at the time

It always amazes me. Glasses that is.
People must have bloody good eyesight to be able to see through some of them.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...
