Listed for individual parts - seller may take an offer for complete car though.
Certainly looks saveable, if not anyone need parts?

Doesn't look half bad and the work he says needs doing seems piffling really especially for us calloused veterans. Anyone going to step forward to save this one? ( Obviously it requires more than a weekend's graft!)
P.S before anyone asks what causes those callouses - non specified source.

Hi It is a crying shame...so come and save it! I would love to see it go for restoration ...It needs 3 doors, it has rust in the rear door shuts, plus an exhaust and general sorting after 15 years in slightly damp storage. On the plus side inside is excelent and it had a new clutch only a few thousand miles ago... Stuart
Anyone going to save this one? If i didnt already have 3.....

Well it's definately beyond saving now! We tripped up there yesterday and removed numerous parts. No one had stepped forward to save the car (as usual!)
But the clocks, switches, spoiler, computer and various other bits have gone to improve another GT, rather than be wasted in a scrapyard!
I believe the interior and dash are also going to another GT.
The car itself was easily savable. The doors were cained and there was some soft rot in the scutter tray, but the door hinges and inner wings weren't too bad at all and mechanically it was fine.
Shame really. I did take some pics, but they're a bit sad to look at

Not in they eyes of most yards mate, no. They're in business to make money so I suppose trying to shift parts of old cars doesn't pay. I'm not trying to justify them doing this by the way and luckily there still a few yards that cater for older stuff too. What doesn't help is the E.A are getting very strict on breaker's yards now and it costs an arm and a leg to set one up and run one now.
My favourite ever scrappy (the other side of town) shut last month because of increasingly difficult legislation and expenses which was a real pisser because they were brilliant.
