Erm.. that's probably because it's original. The Preview was a way for Citroen to empty the DTR/GTi parts bin to fit out a base model but it didn't stretch to the instruments - I don't know of any 14s that had a rev counter on either type of engine. In fact I didn't have a rev counter on the dash until my 3rd BX (and first diesel), as the first two were 16RS models.

It's nice trim for a BX though...... (retrofitted one myself)

Hmm... neo-classic is one of the more inventive sales pitch I've seen for a BX - how about "quasi-classic" /"Classic manqué"?

Wonder if he'd take a neo-bid .....?

I've never seen one of those clocks - only the little digital type ( which glows half as brightly when you turn on the lights). And my 'sporty' BX has a rev counter there..
