Yes, I think David's right that it isn't a BX. It was tagged 'BX?' on Flickr and when I saw it late at night through my Fürstenberg fogged vision I didn't scrutinise - being too affected by the generally strange composition!
But upon closer inspection it seems to have some kind of pop-up head light covers and a bit more curve in its rear. Bit of Toyota bit of Clio? Get your magnifying glasses out!

I think that might be the smallish mazda that had pop-up headlamps. 323 maybe.

It's one of these early 90's mazda 323's, you can tell by the pop up headlamps and the swage line across the rear quarter:
