New bumpers

Post by Matt H »

Hi everyone,

They need a bit of work, but I think it will be worth it when I'm finished.

As you can see from the picture, the front one needs a bit of reconstructive surgery, and something to fill the hole where the towing eye cover should be. I don't think I will be finding one of those in a hurry...

The rear of the car looks a bit odd at the moment, but should be okay after its all painted, and I sort out a new exhaust trim...

Regards,
Matt

The skirts will happen...

Quite hard to find a set though, and even harder to remove them from the car without chewing them up too badly.

They are easy enough to remove if you're careful and patient.
Neither of which I am which is why I dont have any spare I'm afraid.
Looking good though, P2 FTW!

As it goes your long search may not be that long for a towing eye cover.
PM an address and I'll bung one in the post next week.
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Some you get lucky with, the N/S skirts on Smiffy's car quite literally fell off in my hand guvnor!
But usually they have to be teased off which takes forever...

Cars are a much better past time.
Better body work, never get a headache, go all night and cheaper to run.. Who could want more!
