Wetherby - 16th/18th May 2008

Post by mountainmanUK »

I noticed that no-one has yet mentioned this Meet. Are any of us planning on going?

I'm hoping to be there, but not camping over, just a "day-trip", probably on the Sunday.

I realise that it's a fair old way for most of the Southerners amongst us, but it's an easy enough trip for anyone based from the Midlands upwards!!

Cheers!

Dave

I'm considering going on the Sunday ........We would've been making a w/end of it,but wifey is recovering from a minor op. and she's not really up for trailer-tenting yet.
It's nice enough site/venue ...........there is [or was last year] a bar provided, but they dont sell ale ......so remember to take your own if you're there for the w/end.

Sorry I didn't make it to Wetherby, but I had one of my occasional "bad days" on Sunday so wasn't up to the drive.

Hoping to still put in an appearance at the National though.......health permitting!

Too true!

Mind you, if Stratford last year is anything to go by, you could sober up completely whilst standing in the queue for one of his delicious pizzas!!
