E Bay Seller wrote:Re-listed due to a time waster. 1987 Citroen BX hatchback, non-runner, but many parts in reasonable condition. Has been stored indoors for the last 3 years. Available to view in Nottingham. Buyer to remove from building and take away. The engine is a turbo diesel. thought to be either 1.8 or 1.9
So it's a 1.7 (or 1.8 if you prefer), private listing on a twenty quid car...
Screams schill to me!

It's a bit like saying, "I have a Parrat for sale, it may be alive"...
Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Hi Jon

I think my late father in law had an E reg estate in faded grey and that was a turbo
sadly that is also no longer with us.

Doc

Putting my best anorak on, BX turbodiesels were first sold in France from March '88 .... if Revue Technique is to be believed. Maybe just possible to be on an E plate as an '88, but only just.
Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

Yep, I know someone who has one. I repiped it some years ago, the worst case of rotten pipes I've ever seen. Had to do 2 before we could even move it.

It was an E reg DTR Turbo estate in white. One owner from new at that time, now it has 2, but on it's last legs I hear.
They think it's all over, it is now!

Looks like my dad must have had one of the early ones too, not as early as this as it was an F reg (F122 BET) but from memory it was August '88 registered. Got me into BX's though, it was my favourite car that he owned!
