He says the front bumper has come off.
Now having removed my front bumper it doesn't just fall off so maybe damage there then.
ABS warning light on but no problems with ABS if that is true why bother with fitting a warning light.
Also been cleaned out ready for collection maybe mobile dog kennel?
Pay Pal only you mean if someone turned up with good old fashioned cash he would send them away. I don't think so!
just a few observations
Regards Kermit

Is it just me or did the battery come out of a Mack truck

I reckon they want full payment before anyone comes to view it, either because people have tried to haggle the price down in the past, or it's so bad that nobody would pay anything after seeing it in the flesh!A certain green amphibian wrote:Pay Pal only you mean if someone turned up with good old fashioned cash he would send them away. What’s the matter People, does no one think of SPARE PARTS, it maybe a knacker but if it will drive home!
People complain about the rarity of parts and then something like this comes along, and nobody takes it, then it will probably just end up as scrap! And that means lots of parts gone.
I also own two Morris Marinas, One triumph Spitfire, a beetle and a Vw camper.
On the other hand this listing seems a bit strange, needs a bit more investigation. Maybe go and have a look with readies in pocket.

I think just about every owner of a car over 15 years old thinks of SPARE PARTS, but I would guess that under 5% of owners have the space to be able to break a car for spares, and even less people have the space to store either those spares, or possibly the car complete.pfozzy wrote:does no one think of SPARE PARTS
I'm one of the very few who does have the space to break a car for spares and to then keep hold of those spares, but my driveway is currently full-to-overflowing... so actually I don't. Not right now anyway.
.... and I might politely suggest that after a mere 4 posts on this forum, you don't have a little rant about the lack of interest in a particular car listed on eBay. BX's are surprisingly difficult to sell, (especially off eBay) as the vast majority of people who want one already own one (or possibly more!) Some will inevitably end up as scrap. You cannot save them all. Nor can you break them all for spares.

Also... why do you appear to be posting from two seperate userID's? pfozzy and pfozzy76. Clearly the same person.
My point was not that there is a minimum number of posts before you can have a rant, more that you appear to be chastising people in general when you've been here for 5 minutes. You could just as easily have said something like "Must be worth it for parts alone?"
