The estate / hydropneumatic suspension combination was one of the reasons I bought my TD Estate 6 years ago.
I wanted an estate car as we like camping and also were fed up with not being able to move large articles in a saloon car but the problem with estates is either they are nearly useless like a BMW, have soft suspension and won't carry a load without bottoming or wallowing dangerously, or are so hard sprung that the thing bounces sideways everytime it goes round a corner, or are enormous.
Citroen suspension, being self levelling etc should solve these problems - and 6 years later - yes it does.
Financially not as good as yours Tom - I paid £550 for mine and took a chance as it wouldn't go over 35 MPH on a test run! (Didnt smoke excessively, engine wasn't oily, started quite well and ran on 4, and had water in it with no stains - and it turned out the throttle pedal had dropped off!)
