I took the petrol tank off my mower, refilled with fresh diesel and rigged up a gravity feed to the pump. After about a minute of cranking I was getting regular spurts out of the injector pipes, and once connected it fired up and ran perfectly.
I reconnected the pipe to the fuel filter (instead of the mower tank) and it drew fuel up straight away.I do wonder if there is an air leak somewhere though, as it seemed unable to draw fuel through until primed.
