Are you sure you've got the correct Stratford? It's actually Stratford-upon-avon (I believe) It looks about the same from waay up north, A little less if anything. (google maps recons about 12 miles, and 1/2hr less)

No I had the right Stratford but just didn't look at the map properly (which is nothing new for me!)

It was a good event socially, until the social policeman turned up! But we had a good old drunken rant in the van!
As a club event, the CCC do's are a bit of a joke really. Think I nearly nodded off at one point (more sleep than I got the previous night!)

I didn't meet aerodynamica (awesome name!) but I definately remember the BX on deals on wheels....it's repeated all the time on Discovery Turbo channel. I had the "priviledge" of having my BX on a cheesey low rent programme do, where I did meet the presenters, but didn't go on the telly myself! But they did write on my windscreen

Hopefully I'll be at Stratford in a BX of some sort....when is it anyway?

Sorry, I'd already put my camera back in the car, but we did have quite a good natter to the owner of the Visa GTi. He "saved" it a few years ago from a bankrupt second-hand car dealer who had it on his forecourt for around £650. After the firm went bust he watched the car looking more and more unloved, so one day he approached the receivers (or whoever was now responsible) and offered £150 for it. They got him to put the offer in writing and it was accepted.
He's done a lot of work on it, but there is still quite a bit to do. He plans on keeping it and continuing to use it regularly, while slowly getting the rest of the work done. IIRC he is a builder (or similar) so has a company van for daily use.
Can't remember anything else!

It's a shame they chucked you and the other moderns so far out of the way - I'm sure it could have been arranged better. I didn't even realise there were any C6s there until the end of the day!

A few more from me.

The ones of the 2CVs with that odd lens flare are the only pics I've ever taken with my 300mm lens - looks like it's dirty :(

My particular favourites:

There are more on the way - I'm still waiting for my black and white ones to come back :(

Er, yes a bit late but I just got back from the U of K in the old van. It decided to throw off its oil filler cap and contents on the M4 last week and when I filled it up again and tried to start it - burnt out the ignition leading me to the conclusion that it was seized. But it wasn't. So, new ignition wiring/relay and lights on permanently but it got home..
Anyway, I thoroughly enjoyed The National and a good old re-hyradation session on the Saturday night, otherwise known as the AGM or should I say the F'ing AGM as beer leads a man towards liberal use of that f'ing adjective. Good to see everyone and just hang about enjoying the company and weather on Sunday!

Not much to add in the way of photos. Here's El Prez and Matt before and after listening to The Levellers
