For Sale: 1991 1.9 TGD Meteor

Post by sausage »

Well, after 7 years together it's finally time to say goodbye to Brenda :( Thought I'd see if there was any interest here as I'd like her to go to a good home if possible.

1991 'J' reg with 90006 miles on the clock. MOT until June '09, tax until Nov '08.

Cam/alternator/HP pump belts changed at 83000. New glow plugs, clutch cable & gearbox oil change at 85000 miles. Two new rear tyres and exhaust fitted in March '08. Done less than a 1000 miles since oil/oil filter/air filter change. Also a years warrantly left on the three front spheres fitted in Aug '06

In pretty good overall condition for the age with no major damage or rust. Minor rusting on the bottom of the passenger side doors.

The only problem at the moment is with the clutch, it makes some noise when the pedal is depressed and can be difficult to change gear so needs some attention.

Feel free to get in touch with any questions either by PM or in this thread.

Price? Make me an offer!!

Just a quick bump in case anyone does feel in need of another BX or fancies taking her for parts. Any reasonable offer considered. otherwise she's off to the scrap yard

Smokes lots, because enough's enough already!

Far too many BX's, a bus, an ambulance a few trucks, not enough time and never enough cash...

Yes, Im in a bit of a minimalist mood - actually its so that it takes less effort to log into BXC when using the WAP application on my Nokia.

Odd about the PM - anyway following a discussion by the wife (who reads this stuff apparently) I have been told in no uncertain terms that I am not getting (and I quote) " another pile of s***e to go on the driveway". Apparently she has threatened to call the scrap man shoudl anything turn up. So, its over to Billy for now..... (He will probably offer more than I did anyway).

Almost back on topic,

I was driving down the M5 last Thursday when I heard on the radio a travel report for some pile up or broken down van somewhere, phoned in by a guy called Sausage :o

Just wondered if this was "our" Sausage :?:

Lol sorry I was getting carried away, I am trying to raise funds to keep the ones I have not add to them. Good luck with the sale.
