19 for sale

Post by Philip Chidlow »

Can't say much more than that, but Edwards, the Citroen specialist breakers near me have just taken it in. Mark there says it's much too nice to consider breaking, very nice (expensively refurbed apparently) ZX alloys and clean body. Small leak will be fixed and car sold on. Again, it's a non-injected 1900 petrol - more than that I can't say. I'll go and check it out.

Won't want much for it I guess...

Anyone interested?

Just seen it: A 19TRS on a 'G' (Mk2. ph 1 style). Nice and shiny Olympic Blue with grey tweed interior. Smoked C pillars. Very good order by the look of it (couldn't stop for long as it started to p*** down!). Alloys are nice (if you like that sort of thing): ZX Aura/Volcane ones, refurbished with Olympic Blue centre caps.

Recent new octopus. Leak to be investigated, likely to be a return pipe somewhere (it's going to be fixed).

Mark said £350. I told him that was hopeful 'top money' for a BX 19 petrol. He said he'd been offered £250 to scrap it. Now, I reckon if you let Mark keep the wheels in exchange for a set of steelies with OK rubber on them (there is a set of early BX trims in his store too, I know) he'd go under £300 (he doesn't ant to see it scrapped). But don't say I said so!

I suggest phoning Mark at Edwards: 01277 651486 to dicuss if interested.

Hmm bit too much for me to be honest Phil for a car with No, if he can get £250 then fair enough, need to get my house move and the 2600 Rover gone first really.
