On 969 kilometers of busy 3-laned highways between Hamburg, Basel and my hown town near Zurich I have spotted exactly 0 BXs
Amazing number, ain't it? How come nobody drives these things anymore. I was on a scrap yard near Hamburg while I was there and when I asked the guy at the entrance if he had any BXs he answered: "BX? ... Ah, a dying species..."
Mine's not dead yet!
More pictures coming soon in the galery section

That's a great picture there TB2 - look forward to more in the gallery! Glad your BX went well.
Yes, they are a scarcity. On my trans-continental odyssy this summer I saw exactly two, both of them elegantly shabby in the environs of Calais.
I saw one on the autobahn a few months back and there's two esates doing good service in Singen - the next town. But German's like 'em new and shiny generally.. fools!
You're right, they're getting to be a rare sight. There's one that lives near me, but apart from that I hardly ever see them. Spotted one on Lewes High Street the other day, and one on the way up to Cropredy, but apart from those I don't think I've seen one in the wild for months.
My Cars: 2007 Citroen Xsara Picasso 1.6 16V VTX 1982 Citroen GSA Spécial Estate - gone to a new home 1991 Citroen BX16 TGS Meteor - still out there somewhere!

I hate driving cars that you see heaps of on the road each day
I was in the south of France recently on hols, round near Figeac. I was pleased to see quite a few old ones on the roads, all pretty beaten up and dusty though. I did see a couple of really nice ones though, a black 'design' a 16 i think with meteor spec and a great 'Evasion' 19RD estate in white which was in unbelievable condition. I would've got snapping but i was on hols trying to unwind my various obsessions. I like the TRD turbo hatches with the dark glass panel between the rear door and the hatch. I don't think they came like that in the UK?
The other day i saw a mint TZD turbo hatch in metallic grey just outside Dublin transporting a happy family. Reg 92 - D - 50742 so a '92. Tried the camera but we were on the motorway. Anyway we convoyed for a while and exchanged happy and knowing smiles. My garage says the NCT test over here, which only came in around 2000 is strict compared to the MOT and killed them all off around that time. Sad.
There are quite a few CXs springing up around Dublin with UK regs recently. Saw an F reg turbo 2, everything black, kinda Batmanesque the other day, pretty cool. A few DSs and the odd GS around too.
Thats a lovely GSA estate Mark, please let me know if you're ever thinking of letting her find another good owner.
