Trim worth pursuing on a BX Pilot?

Post by DLM »

Don't think too much of the chances of resurrecting this one (see details of MOT failure), but the trim could be worth it. Citroen used this special edition as a way of using up various trim items, namely:

(1) The old-style GTI wheeltrims (blow-up the 3rd picture to see them)
(2) Various older TRS/GTi sports-style seats & interiors in velour - different from the more common TZ trim.

Back on two wheels and pedal power for the moment.

I`d have a go at that except the distance puts me off. I could sure use the engine out of it.

Wouldnt be that expensive, I have 2 165 tyres spare. A new exhaus is nowt, the tanks plastic isnt it and as for the washer thats standard isnt it?

I have a brochure for one if these, only available in white and red? Had Gti whlltrims and seats? and some naff decals.

Bugger just noticed its in dorset! Which is 210 miles!

Maybe not then! TZD Auto and I would be on my way!
