Just got the BX GTi Auto back from Dennis (my friendly neighborhood Citroen Specialist). With it's new MOT
Absolutely no advisories. Everything fine. (Did the noisy droplink and charged the accumulator sphere this a.m.).
So! This car owes me £220 now. But it does have new Michelins, a FSH as long as your arm and tax until end Feb 09. And next service due in 2.5k mile's time.
EXCELLENT. I'm well chuffed.
Respraying the slightly patchy rear bumper this weekend to celebrate...
Time for another photo shoot soon!

No, I'm using paint.cavmad wrote:Are you spraying it yourself Phil?
Yes, actually. I've got my Citroen paint and a suitable primer here. Just waiting for a window in the weather! It's not a difficult job in my experience (I've done two in the past). The trick is to use thin layers waitng for each to become about touch-dry before applying the next. Using clear lacquer is the hardest part. I didn't bother with the green bumper I did and it still looked OK. I'll see how it goes.
