Toddmans O.E. valver

Post by Toddman »

Thought I would add my latest valver project to the gallery :)
The car is as I got it no polishing or cleaning done yet and it came with some nice history and touches like the blue-spot handbook, remote plip and in all standard condition.
An ex citroen UK car with just two former keepers thelast one owning it for almost 15 years.

All I need to source to make it complete is an O.E. tailpipe,it has one but you wil see the dreaded rust has attacked it, and some rear mudflaps - I have a few little mechanical jobs to finish like the dizzy plate needs replacing (white plastic item) and a couple of steel pipes are a tad rusty but overall condition is superb.

When I get my white valver in as good a condition bodywork wise I will be a happy chappy 8)

Ahh, so good to see another Valver that has escaped the clutches of the 205GTi mob :D

That'll be a corker with a bit of gentle work!

Thanks guys - the cars condition is a credit to its former owner :D
Matt mileage is creeping up towards 125k but engine seems solid with no signs of oil usage so suspect the stem seals have been done at some stage.
It does need a bit of gentle TLC things like the dashlights need replacing it currently looks like only one bulb is working LOL! but with the white one back on the road I can tinker baout at my leisure.

Kettle is always on Tim and that goes for any other members visiting the fens - we are not far from Cadwell is anyones feeling brave

Cheers

Looks tidy Luke. Reminds me of Whitey's old one, pre-modified stage!

Backbox has years left in her! Thats what mine looked like. Amazing what a can of hammerite spray can do :D
