Wish I could plead youth for my ignorance
Is this a revs v torque situation where the diesel can handle the higher gear ratios better than petrol engine? Guess I was just blindly hoping to keep my GTi gearbox as a spare in case the recently replaced TXD box (thanks again Jon) went bang again
